“My mother said, ‘You’re not a kid no more. It’s time to grow up, because you have a child.’”
When I became a father for the first time. It was a big change. I was 17, but I had to grow up. So my daughter came and life progressed. My mother said, “you’re not a kid no more. It’s time to grow up, because you have a child.” I graduated. I had to find a job. I went to the Army and provided for my family. My son came three years later. Now I have three kids and they’re all grown. I have grandchildren. My granddaughter just graduated from high school.
