We moved to Pittsburgh 14 years ago and trying to find a church where the kids felt at home. Finally, during the summer, we decided to come and check out First Lutheran Church. I remember the first thing that happened after church when we came out to the courtyard, all the young people surrounded my kids and made them feel really welcome.

We had come from a church that had a lot of youth from different school districts, but they didn’t connect. What we noticed right away is these kids also came from many school districts. There were a lot of them, and they were very connected and like Nora said, they made them feel wanted. That’s why we came. It changed our lives. Even the adults here. It’s really made a big difference in our lives.
