My life changed when I got my current job for UPMC. I actually never had a job before and it was a corporate position, full time, Monday through Friday. I’m still with the company six years later.
Before I was just kind of going with the flow and waiting to see what was going to happen with my life. Then I applied and here I am. It changed how I saw myself. Being 19 years old, I never saw myself walking into a building with a bunch of professionals. It makes me believe that I can do anything I put my mind to. People think that they’re not good enough to try to do whatever they want to do in life, but they should go for it and do it!
